Silicone rubber has several properties that distinguish it from other elastomers. These characteristics stem from the polymer itself and the filler structure, rather than additives or surface treatments, which are more common in other rubbers. These are essentially the inherent properties of the rubber.
Silicone is not abrasion-resistant in heavy industrial applications, where other rubber types are typically preferred since the above properties are less critical.
Medical industry: Requires products of uniform, high quality, produced from tested compounds with required certifications. We use only premixed quality compounds compliant with FDA §177.2600, EC No. 1935/2004, and other European standards, with documentation available on request. For stricter requirements, we offer advanced silicone grades passing ISO 10993 and USP Class VI tests, meeting the highest safety standards required in healthcare.
Design industry: Demands an impeccable finish, where silicone compounds excel. Additionally, silicone offers endless coloring options and does not transfer color, making it ideal for furniture or other applications involving contact with various surfaces.
Food industry: Requires food-grade rubber compounds, which we ensure by using FDA-compliant silicone for molding. We use only premixed compounds meeting FDA §177.2600, EC No. 1935/2004, and other standards, with compliant coloring options for all molded items, whether industrial gaskets or kitchen products.
