Cable moulding is a process where the transition between a cable and connector is encapsulated in a protective rubber material. The choice of material depends on the environment in which the cable will be used.
Moulding can be performed using all rubber types – for example, we mould cables in Viton rubber, which is particularly suitable for exposure to aggressive chemicals and high temperatures. Moulding is commonly used in military, industrial and marine applications to ensure maximum protection and a longer, more durable service life.
We advise on the most suitable material for the given environment and produce a mould, which becomes the customer’s property.
Once the initial samples are approved, we start production. The mould is stored at our facility, ensuring a short turnaround from request to finished cable – as all moulding is carried out at our factory in Ballerup, just outside Copenhagen.
Attach a drawing, image, or anything else that can help illustrate your task. We will review it and promptly return with a proposal.
